RESPITE: “a short period of rest or relief from something difficult or unpleasant”
At the Guest House Retreats, we carve out a little time for rest and returning; returning ourselves to God, the source of all love and belonging and healing, who waits patiently for us to rest in Him.
If you have experienced/are experiencing the pain of betrayal in your marriage and are looking for a time of rest and refreshment on the path to healing, we invite you to join us as we make space for spiritual, emotional and physical nourishment.
The teaching and spiritual guidance of our retreats focus on living as God’s beloved child. Through guided devotionals, silence and rest as well as fellowship, music and feasting together throughout the weekend, we usher women into God’s presence and their identity as the beloved. This retreat is specifically for women experiencing the trauma of sexual betrayal, who are looking for respite, and further steps on the path to healing.
COST: for a weekend retreat is $400-$800 depending on whether you prefer a private or shared room. We have a few shared rooms still available for our February and May Retreats
LODGING: three nights at a private retreat center
MEALS: all meals, snacks and drinks included.
PRAYER SESSIONS: We offer individual sessions for prayer and encouragement with one of our mentors, upon request
SPIRITUAL DIRECTION SESSIONS: We offer appointments with our spiritual director.
